2021 Associates Applications

ASSOCIATES

OMS is looking for highly-motivated leaders interested in expanded leadership who are willing to take initiative and oversee ambassadors. In addition to guiding ambassadors in their duties and promoting OMS, you are responsible for assisting the OMS executive during events, offering technological and conversational support as well as monitoring online activity during webinars. Furthermore, you are expected to connect OMS to your wider community, both within and beyond your school. As an associate, there will be a time commitment of about 2-3 hours a week, including occasional meetings with the executive team. You will be expected to reach a ticket goal of 15 tickets.

Open to high-school students (grades 8-12) in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut

Perks: 2 webinar events with free admission; if ticket goal is met, free admission to all events (subject to change)

  2. We will reach out to successful applicants and host interviews during the first 2 weeks of November

  3. Associate offers will be sent out throughout the third week of November


2021 ambassador Applications

AMBASSADORs

As an ambassador, you are responsible for promoting and raising awareness for OMS events, focusing especially within your school community. We are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, and passionate high school students with strong networking skills who can creatively promote and positively represent OMS. You will be expected to repost our promotional material on social media and personally reach out to individuals to sell tickets (a time commitment of about 1-2 hours a week leading up to events). There will also be a ticket goal of a minimum of 10 tickets.

Open to high-school students (grades 8-12) in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut
